Whether a member chooses to serve as a chapter officer, or represent AOII as a member of other campus or community organizations, there are numerous opportunities to develop leadership skills as a member of AOII.

Commitment to
Scholarship

AOII encourages all members to excel academically and has many programs designed to assist women in achieving their academic goals. Expectations are high but the support provided by scholarship programs, academic development officer resources, and fellow members makes success attainable.

Letter from the President

Thank you for visiting our website! It is my honor to introduce you to our organization and to give you a deeper understanding of the Iota Sigma Chapter at Iowa State University! Alpha Omicron Pi was founded in 1897, and the Iota Sigma chapter was chartered in 1968. Priding ourselves on 57 years of service, friendship, and sisterhood. Joining Alpha Omicron Pi has changed my life in so many ways. It has provided me with countless opportunities for bettering my life through service, leadership, and academics. In my time as an AOII, I found myself participating in many committee roles, and have been encouraged to run for a wide range of positions. I am so grateful for the sisters that have inspired me to live up to my full potential and explore new paths. The memories that I have made with my sisters will be ones I cherish forever. I am so thankful I found my home here at 2007 Greeley street. We have grown together, and I am excited to see what the future holds! My sisters and I really appreciate that you have taken the time to visit our chapter website. Hopefully this gives you insight as to why AOII membership is so special. If you have any questions about our chapter, please do not hesitate to contact me at jennad33@iastate.edu.
